Not Receiving an Incoming Call When Using Listen or Whisper

Learn how to troubleshoot the issues with not receiving an incoming call when using Listen or Whisper modes.

Issue

Users do not receive incoming calls when using the Listen or Whisper modes.

Solutions

Please check your SIP client (Softphone or IP phone) and ensure the following:

  1. Your device is configured correctly, and you are logged in to Softphone, or your IP phone is configured.
  2. You are not in the DND (Do Not Disturb) mode. Check the Available and DND Statuses article to learn more.
  3. Try using Softphone to whisper and make sure that the extension they are trying to barge or whisper to is in the call.
