Delayed or Failed Message Scheduling in TextPeak
Learn how to troubleshoot the issues with scheduled messages sent at incorrect times or failing to send altogether.
Issue
Scheduled messages are sent at incorrect times or fail to send altogether.
Possible Causes and Solutions
TextPeak platform users might experience occasional challenges with scheduled messages being sent at unexpected times or not being delivered at all for several reasons:
Reason 1. Time Zone Settings
Ensure that the time zones configured in TextPeak match your intended scheduling. Misconfigured time zones can cause messages to be sent at unintended times.
Please refer to the Sending Schedule section to learn how to set the time and date when your SMS messages will be sent.
Reason 2. Campaign Overlaps
Overlapping campaigns might cause conflicts. Review your campaign schedules to prevent overlaps.
Reason 3. Inadequate Account Balance
Verify that your SMS sending balance is sufficient, which is shown in the top right corner of the CommPeak dashboard.
Please check the Adding Credit to Your Account article to learn how to top up your account.
Reason 4. Exceeding Daily Limits
Check if you have exceeded your account's daily SMS sending limits, which are displayed in the top right corner of the CommPeak dashboard.
Reason 5. System Limitations
Check for any platform limitations or maintenance periods that could affect scheduling.
Refer to CommPeak's status page for updates.
