CommPeak MCP Tools Reference

The CommPeak MCP server exposes 212 tools, one for each operation of the CommPeak APIs it covers. This page lists every tool by API, with what it does and whether it reads or writes data. To connect an AI client, see CommPeak MCP Server.

You do not need to use tool names in your requests. Describe what you want, and the assistant picks the tool. The names help when you review what the assistant plans to run, or when you set tool permissions in your AI client.

The tables use these columns.

Column	Meaning
Access	How the server marks the tool. AI clients can run Read tools without asking, depending on your tool permissions.
Needs confirmation	Whether to approve the tool before it runs. Yes for tools that create, change, delete, send, or place calls, and for tools that are billed.
Service required	The service you must allow on the Authorization required page, or include in your API key. None means the tool works with Portal access, which every connection has.

Portal tools

Endpoint: /portal/mcp. 39 tools: 26 read and 13 write. Included with every connection. Speech tools need the Speech Recognition service, and send_message needs SMS Platform. On /all_mcp, the names start with portal_.

CommPeak Dialer tools

Endpoint: /dialer/mcp. 93 tools: 51 read and 42 write. Need the Dialer service and the tenants you allowed on the Authorization required page. Every tool takes your tenant as the sub_domain argument, or you can use /dialer/{sub_domain}/mcp. On /all_mcp, the names start with dialer_.
