What Are CommPeak SIP Signaling Addresses?

CommPeak has a large network of globally distributed POPs (SIP signaling points of presence). We recommend performing an ICMP (ping) test from your SIP device to CommPeak's SIP signaling points of presence to find the closest point of presence to your network.

CommPeak offers the looking glass service, which offers ICMP & Traceroute service from CommPeak's worldwide spread POPs as a tool to check latency or Traceroute from CommPeak's POPs towards your network.

📘

NOTE

ICMP port is required to be open on your network's firewall.

You can always use sip.commpeak.com, which will attempt to determine the POP closest to you.

REGIONSIP Signaling point of presence
EMEA- eu1.sip.commpeak.com - eu2.sip.commpeak.com - za.sip.commpeak.com
Americas- useast.sip.commpeak.com - uswest.sip.commpeak.com - br.sip.commpeak.com
APAC- sg.sip.commpeak.com - tw.sip.commpeak.com - hk.sip.commpeak.com - au.sip.commpeak.com

Due to technical limitations, sip.commpeak.com may not always provide optimal results. We understand that not all SIP proxies, whether commercial or private SIP hardware/software, support the DNS-based configuration of peers and trunks. Therefore, we will notify you via email if we intend to change the IP address for a Point of Presence (POP). However, we strongly recommend using a DNS-based configuration whenever possible.
