Canceling a DID Number

Learn how to cancel your DID number.

If you don't need your DID number anymore and want to stop using it, you can cancel it easily in the CommPeak Portal.

To cancel a DID number:

  1. Log in to the CommPeak Portal.
  2. On the main menu on the left, navigate to DIDs and select Management.

  1. In the My DIDs table, use the checkbox on the left or select the needed number by applying search filters at the top right of the DID Management page.

  1. Click the corresponding three-dot icon and select the Create cancel request action from the list.

  1. In the popup window, review the number, and approve cancellation.

  1. You will see the success message.

  1. Check your inbox for the DID cancellation request email and confirm the DID cancellation by clicking the link in the bottom.

  1. You will be redirected to the final DID Number Cancellation Confirmation popup window.
  2. Click Confirm cancellation.

  1. The DID number is removed.
