Issues With 2-Way Messaging
Learn how to troubleshoot the issues with 2-Way messaging.
Issue
The TextPeak platform users may have difficulties receiving or responding to incoming customer messages.
Possible Causes and Solutions
The issues with 2-Way messaging in TextPeak can have several reasons:
Reason 1. DID Number Configuration
Verify that your DID numbers are correctly set up to receive incoming messages. For detailed setup instructions, refer to CommPeak's documentation or contact our support.
Reason 2. Platform Settings
Ensure that TextPeak is correctly configured to handle 2-way messaging. Check the settings related to message configuration, such as recipients with missing data. Please see the Creating Campaigns article for more details.
Reason 3. 2-Way SMS Support
Ensure that the SMS number you obtained supports Two Way SMS management.
Note that some mobile DIDs can accept SMS, but they are not guaranteed to be used to receive OTP codes and messages. For further assistance, please contact CommPeak's support team via their contact page.
