Can I Resubscribe Someone Who Unsubscribed?
Why only the recipient can reverse an unsubscribe, and what to ask them to do to start receiving emails again.

No. Once a recipient unsubscribes from CommPeak notifications, only they can opt back in. The choice belongs to the person who owns the address, not to the account that invited them.
Re-inviting the same address does not restore the subscription. The recipient stays Unsubscribed until they opt in themselves.
To opt back in, the recipient clicks Manage subscriptions in the footer of any CommPeak email they still hold, then turns the groups they want back on. Ask them to do that rather than sending a new invitation.
