For the best sound quality, all calls in CommPeak Dialer, CommPeak Cloud PBX, or CommPeak Softphone are default switched to the G.722 HD wideband audio codec, which carries a wider frequency range than narrowband codecs.

IMPORTANT
Call quality depends on both the device you use and your provider.
If you're using a provider that supports G.722 wideband codec, HD provides superior call quality.

Also, you can maintain excellent voice quality and lower bandwidth usage with codecs such as G.711u/a or G.729a, assuming you have the bandwidth available.
