Message Delivery Failures in TextPeak

Learn how to troubleshoot the issues with specific SMS messages not reaching their intended recipients.

Issue

TextPeak platform users may observe that specific SMS messages are not reaching their intended recipients.

Possible Causes and Solutions

The issues with specific SMS messages not reaching their intended recipients can have several reasons:

Reason 1. Invalid Recipient Numbers

Ensure that all contact numbers are accurate and formatted correctly. You can check the Getting Started with Contact Lists article for more details on managing your contacts.

Reason 2. Carrier Restrictions

Some carriers may block messages from specific sender IDs or numbers. Consider using alternative sender IDs or consult with CommPeak support for guidance.

Reason 3. Content Filtering

Carriers might filter out messages containing prohibited keywords or phrases. Review and modify message content to comply with your carrier policies. You can check the Creating Campaigns page for more details on how to make various settings related to the message(s) you will be sending.

Reason 4. Blocked Destinations

The contact numbers added to a blacklist will not receive messages from TextPeak. Please refer to the Blocked Destinations article to check the blocked destinations and learn how to modify the blacklist list if needed.

Reason 5. Destination Not Available

We offer text messaging services for most major destinations worldwide. To make sure the destination you are interested in is available, please check our DID Numbers Global Coverage page or contact CommPeak support for more information about SMS services in your country.

Reason 6. Exceeding Daily Limits

Check if you have exceeded your account's daily SMS sending limits, which are displayed in the top right corner of the CommPeak dashboard.
