Redesigned Main Menu in CommPeak Portal, Plus Rewritten Login and Password Reset Articles

What's New?

CommPeak Portal

Redesigned main menu

The CommPeak Portal side menu and top bar have a new layout. Help and Support is now Help & Support, and SMS is now Messaging. Tabs moved between sections as well: the new Cloud PBX & Dialer section groups the former Cloud PBX & Dialer tabs and the Call Recordings and Recording Encryption tabs, the Voice Rates tab sits under VoIP Services, and SMS Rates sits under Messaging. More than 100 articles now show the new menu in their screenshots and navigation paths.

To get the main idea, start with the CommPeak Portal Overview article: its sections now describe the redesigned side menu and the refreshed top bar with the screenshots and links showing the new layout.

Profile Settings moves to the rebuilt top bar

The top bar now carries the search box, announcements, notifications, your balance, the Add Credit button, and an account menu under your account name. Profile Settings opens from that menu rather than from the side menu, next to Account Details and My Contracts. In the side menu, Settings keeps Account Details, Notifications, Users & Departments, and API Access.

The documentation follows the same split: Profile & Account Settings now holds one article per menu entry.

  • Profile Settings: the path through the account menu, the profile fields and the email change, social logins, password changes, two-factor authentication with backup codes, and communication preferences.
  • Account Details: new article on viewing and managing your personal or company account information.
  • My Contracts: new article on reviewing your CommPeak contracts and accepting changes when required.

One article per login verification method

Logging In is now a parent article that covers the login screens and hands off to a separate article for each verification method, so a customer goes straight to the method they use. Resetting Your Password follows the recovery link from the login screen through to the new password.
