The following table contains descriptions of errors you may encounter while operating the CommPeak Softphone.

The session ended due to the loss of RTP

Media Access Denied

Media access was denied for the local user when prompted for audio/video devices. Solution: Try plugging/unplugging the headphones and make sure the mic is allowed in the browser.

Dialog Error

An in-dialog request received a

No Answer

An incoming call was not answered in the time set in the configuration

SIP Failure Code

A negative

SIP Error Causes

Lost Connection

The connection to a

SIP account

was lost.

Rejected 603

The user is blocked from making calls. This may happen if the session has expired, the account is disabled (inactive), or the user’s state is set to “On Break” (not allowed to make outbound calls).

Access Forbidden 403

Access is denied either due to

ACL restrictions

or incorrect SIP credentials.
