What's New?
CommPeak Portal
- Added the CommPeak's SIP Trunking Addresses article to the Portal > VoIP Services section to outline the IP addresses required for SIP signalling & media addresses required for firewall whitelisting.
- Created a new article to help you understand real-time data for your phone number lookups, including validation status, network details (MCC, MNC), and number formatting (E.164, national, international): LookUp Requests Data Explained.

CommPeak Portal
- Updated the following articles with actual screenshots and descriptions:
- Improved the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Problems in CommPeak Portal article by complementing it with four reasons (2FA Emails Flagged as Spam, Email Filters or Rules, Blocked Sender, and Overloaded Mailbox) and providing the solutions that may prevent you from setting up or using 2FA for your CommPeak account.
- Added a note to the Registering in Zoiper article that Zoiper only supports password-based SIP accounts.
CommPeak Dialer
- Updated the Click2Call Integrations guide with actual screenshots and descriptions.
- Updated the IP addresses and Port Ranges for CommPeak Dialer article, removing information about CommPeak's SIP Trunking Addresses, Monitoring IP Addresses, and Firewall Guidelines.
Cloud PBX
- Improved the Click2Call Integrations article to align it with the updates made to the Dialer Click2Call Integrations article (see above).
Classic PBX
- Removed the Do I Have to Manage Load Balancing or Failover Across Multiple IP Addresses? article the Classic PBX > FAQs section keeping its duplicate in the VoIP Service > FAQs section.
- Removed the Where Is My Traffic Sent to? article from the Classic PBX > FAQs section keeping its duplicate in the VoIP Service > FAQs section.
- Updated the IP Addresses and Port Ranges for CommPeak's Classic PBX article, removing information about CommPeak's SIP Trunking Addresses and Monitoring IP Addresses.
VoIP Service
- The What Are CommPeak SIP Signaling Addresses? article was moved from from the Classic PBX > FAQs section to the VoIP Service > FAQs section and complemented with the Monitoring IP Addresses section.
- The What is E.164? article was moved to the corresponding VoIP Service > FAQs section.
- Transferred the article Do You Support DNS SRV Record? from the Classic PBX > FAQs section to the VoIP Service > FAQs section, removed the line with the recommendation to check the PBX IP ACL Settings article, and added the link to the CommPeak's SIP Trunking (Termination & Origination) article instead.
- Transferred the article PBX IP ACL Settings from the VoIP Services > Getting Started section to the Classic PBX > Settings section, keeping its duplicate in the Portal > Account Security section.
- Removed the note about IP addresses and Port Ranges for CommPeak Dialer page from the Do You Support Any SIP TLS SRTP Encryption Methods? article.
- Removed the What PBX VoIP Network Firewall Settings Are Needed for Business Networks? article from the VoIP Service > FAQs section keeping its duplicate in the Classic PBX > FAQs section.
- Improved the Running an Echo and DTMF Test article by rearranging information and updating the screenshots added.
CommPeak Softphone
- Enhanced the Extension Registration Issues article by adding a note about troubleshooting another reason, Issue within SIP Account, that can cause problems while registering extensions in Softphone (or IP phones).
SMS Service
- Updated the following articles with actual screenshots and descriptions to align it with the updates made to the Portal SMS Services articles (see above):
