Documentation and Developer Hub v1.4.8 Released - 29/08/2025

We’re excited to share all the notable changes that are now available in v1.4.8 of our Documentation and Developer Hub (August 29, 2025).

What's New?

CommPeak Portal

  • Created a section in the LookUp API Service article on how to add the HLR service to CommPeak Dialer.

CommPeak Dialer

  • A new Desk’s Breaks page was introduced that can help users understand desk-specific break management. It allows users to configure breaks per desk.
  • The Mute Audio Channel During Playback section was added to the Call Records List Report page with the explanation of how to mute one side of the call while listening to the recording.

Cloud PBX

  • A new page created providing instructions on how to set breaks per desk in CommPeak Cloud PBX: Desk's Breaks.
  • Also, a new section was created explaining how one can mute one call side while listening to the recording.

CommPeak Softphone

  • Added a note announcing the updated WebRTC Softphone closing session behavior, with the WebRTC softphone automatically closing if there is no active Dialer/PBX session in the user's browser and displaying a warning message.
  • Added a new section to describe a new feature, Always on Top, that was added under the General Settings menu.

API Reference

  • Added a new API endpoint: desks/desk-breaks/ for fetching current breaks by desk to the corresponding API Reference Desk Breaks page.

Documentation Enhancements:

CommPeak Dialer

  • Added a note about the necessity of whitelisting all FreeSWITCH IP addresses when using a firewall to the Call Center Regions article.
  • Updated the Users Breaks page to reference the new feature added, Breaks by Desks.

TextPeak

Cloud PBX

  • Added a note to the Call Center Regions article about the necessity to whitelist all FreeSWITCH IP addresses for your Cloud PBX account when using a firewall.
  • Also, the Users Breaks page was updated to reference the new feature added, Breaks by Desks.
