What's New?

CommPeak Dialer

• Restructured the CommPeak Dialer documentation sections (introducing new subsections and rearranging the existing articles) to simplify navigating the Dialer resources.
• Added a new overview article to introduce the Outbound Configurations menu section.
• Introduced a new article, featuring CommPeak's free Answering Machine Detection (AMD) that automatically identifies voicemails, reduces agent idle time, and minimizes the impact on drop rates and allows for smarter machine detection & alerts.

Softphone

• Added a new article - How SSO Login Works in Softphone that highlights the upgraded Softphone v6.2.5 login options with the support of SAML OAuth.

Documentation Enhancements:

CommPeak Portal

• Updated the DID Types article, introducing the new DID types offered by CommPeak:
  • Geographic DID Numbers (replaces Local DID numbers)
  • Mobile DID numbers (stays the same)
  • Toll-Free DID numbers (stays the same)
  • National Numbers (replaces Non-Geographic DID numbers)
  • Premium Numbers (a new type) for custom numbers designed for easy recall to help strengthen brand identity.
• Added the Linked DIDs section to the Managing Identities document to specify that clicking on the link with the DID number will open the DID Inventory page with the inventory list of DIDs available.
• Added a description of the Caller ID Rule to the Setting Up PSTN on Your DID Number article.

Dialer

• The Call Center Regions article was updated to show the current UI.

TextPeak

• Made minor updates to the TextPeak doc section structure by adding actual screenshots and more details to the following articles:
  • Getting Started with Contacts
  • Tasks.

Cloud PBX

• The Call Center Regions article was updated to show the updated UI.

CommPeak Softphone

• Updated the existing documents to reflect the changes introduced with the update of the new version of Softphone - v6.2.5:
  • Information about the support of SAML OAuth for hassle-free and secure access to your Softphone app is added to the Getting Started page.
  • The standalone Softphone Logging In section is complemented with more login options.
  • The web-based Softphone widget article is complemented by introducing new login options.
• Updated the Built-in Softphone for JWT-Enabled SIP Accounts page to notify users that the Portal now has an option to open the built-in Softphone.
• Finally, the following pages were updated with new screenshots and minor improvements::

  • General Settings
  • Help and Support.
