Authenticator app as a second verification method

In short: Security settings > Two-factor authentication in the Profile tab now offers two methods, Email code and Authenticator app. You can use either one or both, and one method always remains enabled.

• Your Profile: check how to turn the authenticator app on, and generate and save single-use backup codes.
• Logging In: learn how to enter either code on the Login verification screen, switch methods for a single login, and recover access through the Can't access your email? flow.
